The NSS, University of Kashmir orgainsed an online Painting/ Poster Making/ Slogan Writing competition on the theme  “Reimagine. Recreate, Restore to mark the World Environment Day. In his statement, Dr.Musavir Ahmed,  Coordinator NSS, University of Kashmir said that Environmental protection is  a concern that is both urgent and existential. The aim of the contest was to encourage students in general and its volunteers in particular to actively participate in Environmental  activities as well as become active agents in developing environmental safety measures. The online contest was dedicated to this year's theme which is Ecosystem Restoration.  The online contest was open to all the  post graduate and under graduate students of J&K. It was  held in three categories i.e Painting, Poster making and Slogan Writing.
Students from HKM Degree college Bandipora, Government Degree College Kulgam, Government Degree College Tral and University of Kashmir secured positions in the various categories.
