The COVID-19 Pandemic has taken the world by storm affecting lives of billions of people. The pandemic and the subsequent lockdown of entire populations/nations has seen best and worst of human emotions – empathy, sympathy, kindness, concern, anger, frustration, social cohesiveness and bravery among others. On the positive side, people around the world have been expressing their feelings in various ways such as poetry, prose, paintings & graphics, music, singing & dancing!

Well, to see what our students can make out of their emotions, the National Service Scheme (NSS) University of Kashmir, Srinagar is announcing "#OnlineContest2020 | NSS Kashmir Fights Covid-19" which is open for students of all Colleges/Universities of Kashmir.

Participants can compete in the below listed contests

- Poster Making
- Poetry Writing
- Essay Writing (not more than 700 words)
- Video Making (not more than 2 minutes)
- Best Photo (Best time utilization with family during lockdown; a maximum of 2 photos)
- My Inspiring Story (The Helping Hand)

Rule Book:
1. The Registration is free.
2. Participants should be bonafide College/University students.
3. Participants can express themsleves in Kashmiri, English or Urdu language.
4. Submission window will remain open between 4th May 2020 (10:00 AM) to 12th May 2020 (10:00 PM).
5. Participants must submit the work/ activity on the submission link https://forms.gle/aUDRRns2xmYWcJxK6 before the deadline.
6. Participants must work with whatever stuff is available at home.
7. Each participant can take part in a maximum of 2 contests.
8. Decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Winners & Prizes:
- Winners will be decided by prominent experts in the respective fields.
- Winners will be announced on nss.uok.edu.in by 23rd May 2020.
- Each contest will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd position & a conciliation prize.
- Winners will be awarded trophies and certificates.
- All the contestants will be given participation e-certificates.
